 (I) Required Documents
Valid documents (the "valid documents" of the bulletin refers to ID card, residence booklet, armyman certificate, passport, Hong Kong and Macao fellow return home certificate, Guangzhou social security (public) card, disability certificate, and so on.)
 (II) Borrowing Card Categories
 Adult's Book Borrowing Card: 15 adult's books and 2 adult's journals each time, books and journals are limited to 31 borrowing days.
 Children's Book Borrowing Card: 15 children's books and 2 children's journals, books and journals are limited to 31 borrowing days.
 (III) Remarks
1. The first time for a reader to apply for a borrowing card will be free of any deposit and fee, but RMB 5 will be charged for each re-application/re-issue of the borrowing card.
2. A borrowing card enables to borrow books or journals, 2 journals each time.
3. The readers who can borrow 4 books and 2 library books can borrow 15 library books since December 28, 2016.
4. The adolescents under 14 should apply for children's book borrowing cards, and the readers over 14 (inclusive) should apply for adult book borrowing cards.
5. If a reader fails to return books before the deadline, each book will be charged RMB0.01 per day.
II. Readers holding borrowing cards without deposit should present the borrowing cards to be returned. If the borrowing card is lost, please call or go to the card application office for the loss-out. (Tel: 83801293)
III. Readers with borrowing cards can enjoy the “inter-library borrowing & returning" service in any other library that is available with this service, and vice versa. (Rules for Inter-library Borrowing & Returning: Adult readers can borrow totally 15 adult books and non-library adult books from our library; juvenile readers can borrow totally 15 children's books and non-library children's books from our library; adult books and children's books are limited to 31 borrowing days.)
